An Elder is one who has wisdom from experience, knows what wisdom they bring, and implements that wisdom in their life. Those who attain the office of Elder have lifelong knowings and wisdom ~ whatever chronological age one might embody in the moment.

• Elders have clear intuition and inner sight.
• Elders respect all others.
• Elders speak and are silent as they are called.
• Elders are artists of caring.
• Elders walk gently through experiences.
• Elders have come to know their own ego.
• Elders have skills and experience that they are prepared to share.
• Elders often are poets, musicians, writers, artists, teachers, administrators, and mentors.
• Heartist Elders utmost intention and attention are centered upon qualities of  peace, equality, and loving kindness.
